We are looking to recruit a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Specialist with expertise in IT to join our team in Nicosia.
The job
  • Develop and/or maintain IT-related governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Ensure IT governance aligns with standards such as ISO 27001, DORA and other related frameworks.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks in line with organizational risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with relevant staff and vendors to ensure effective risk management.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and report any findings.
  • Maintain and continuously update the risk register, ensuring all identified risks are documented, assessed and monitored.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during reviews and inspections.
  • Create and maintain compliance documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor compliance and produce reports on governance, risk, and compliance metrics where appropriate.
The Requirements
  • BSc/BA in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance roles.
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor certifications will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of GRC frameworks (ISO 27001, DORA etc.)
  • Experience in developing and managing policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of internal IT controls and processes.
