Important update to the login process of Ancoria OnLine

We would like to inform you that, starting from 04/09/2023, we will be introducing an additional layer of verification to the login process of Ancoria OnLine, through the use of One Time Passwords (OTPs).

Kindly note that the biometrics login process (face or fingerprint recognition) via the mobile app version of Ancoria OnLine, will not be affected by this change.

Why we are making this change
Protecting your data and ensuring the privacy of your account is one of our top priorities. By adding this extra verification step to the login process, we are significantly reducing the risk of unauthorised access to your account, even if your login credentials get compromised.

How the new login process will work

  • Step 1 - You will enter your login credentials as usual.
  • Step 2 - Upon successful verification of your login details, an OTP will be generated and sent to your registered mobile phone number (or email address for corporate customers).
  • Step 3 - You will enter the OTP you received in the designated field on the login page.
  • Step 4 - Upon successful verification of the OTP, you will gain access to your account.

What you should do

To ensure the successful delivery of OTPs and prevent a disruption in accessing your account once this change takes place, please ensure that your registered mobile phone number (or email address for corporate customers) is up to date. You can view and change this through Ancoria OnLine at online.ancoria.com by selecting “My Details” and then “Personal Details”.

If you have any questions or need assistance in updating your contact information, please contact our Customer Service team at +357 22 551 300 or info@ancoria.com.

The project was submitted under the Digital Transformation for Business Program and is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Cyprus.
